started early Saturday morning and paddled (through the rain) to just above Clearwater Stream and camped there. Sunday to Hayesville. Checked out Falls Brook and Trout Brook falls on Sunday.
No flies Saturday. When the sun came out Sunday at noon the flies made up for lost time. The river rose 5-6 inches overnight with the rain we received. This made it much quicker sailing to the take out where at previous days levels would have been scratchy. Seen one yearling moose and numerous osprey and bald eagles. Never seen any other paddlers until we set off from Trout Brook at 2 PM Sunday.
I'm starting to dry out today.
Cheers
