Take a look at this website! www.redbullflugtag.ca/Its a contest to make flying machines, launched by human power, that are pushed off a tower and... well, that don't really fly!! The world record is something like 60 m flight distance. Most are in the neighbourhood of 10-20m. Some of the entries so far are shaped like: a hockey skate, poutine, zamboni, pirate ship, flying saucer... So, I'm thinking a NB entry - a couple of canoes rafted together with wings and fishermen inside??? What are peoples' thoughts? A true NB flying machine would be...

mmmmm.... fiddleheads *drool*, I saw fresh fiddle heads in the grocery store yesterday. I can't wait for the water to go down so I can pick some.

If you find any with wings, put them aside. You can eat them after the contest.
