Anyone know what a good level would be to run this river? It has been rising the last week and is at 2.5m now. How about put in and take out spots? Getting really anxious to get out this weekend.

We ran this years ago (10-11yrs?) but I don't have much info for you. A group of us at work went together and one of them (who is now in Ontario) knew all the details. We put in at someone's camp just down from the Hyw 3 and 4 corner. Spent the night in a borrowed camp and buy looking at a map I think we took out at a bridge in Pomeroy.
Nothing to worry about on the section we did. If you miss the take out that we used you will come across some falls (anyone know them?).

I'm looking at maps and sat photos of the Magaguadavic river area. Looks like from Mag Lake all the way to Oromocto lake latitude is rapid-filled. A bridge in Brockway looks like a potential put in or take out, but there is Flume Falls 8-12kms after (those are the ones before pomeroy and little falls is after pomeroy).
Like I said before, I don't have a gas-vehicle or a canoe... but I've got all the gear needed for myself and one other (only one paddle at the moment). I'll pitch in gas money for anyone interested/willing to driving. I do have access to a canoe near the Pollet R. and can arrange a shuttle once there if anyone is interested. I'm down for a day trip or an over night, either or.

I heard from a local that they're going to open up the dam on the Maguadavic Lake this weekend, should make for some good running. I've got plans Saturday, but anybody want to make a run Sunday? Scum Lodge on the Flume Ridge Rd. to Pomeroy maybe? It'd be 3-4 hours on the water. I've got one buddy who may be able to make it, but the more the merrier. We're running out of water everywhere so I don't want to waste an opportunity. We'll be reduced to lakes and the St. Croix soon enough. Send me an email ryanward10@hotmail.com if you're in. I've got a 1/2 ton with one seat left, and have one more spare boat if all you can bring is yourself and beverages. Have a good weekend everyone.
