I'm looking to paddle the St. Francis from Escourt Station to the St John probably sometime in May. Anyone done it? Any thoughts about best times, shuttles, etc. thanks, ron

We went two years ago from Riviere du loup to Fort Kent in seven days. The stretch from Estcourt to the Saint John was flat and winding, with several lakes, few decent campsites, and headwinds. There were no rapids to speak of. It was friggin' cold too, first week of June.
If you go to the home page of my site, you can read our trip report.
