I see a few different (very helpful and informative) trip reports on the Little Tobique on this forum and around the web.
There's seems to be bit of variation on timing, with some folks saying mid-May is too early, but other comments that you need quite a bit of water.
There is also a lot of variation in paddling time with folks taking their time fishing, etc.
I have a window in mid-May that a friend and I are considering paddling it. Probably looking at putting in just below Nictau lake, but could do the slightly lower put in depending if it is deemed necessary to shave down distance/time and then taking out in Nictau.
With early starts and solid days on the river, does anyone have any thoughts on whether this could be achieved in a Sat/Sun run? Or is that crazy unreasonable, and if so, would adding a 1/2 day on the Friday be enough to do it? Obviously the nice leisurely 4 day trip down it would be preferred, but you know, real life and all that nonsense.
Thanks for any thoughts or advice!
Are there any suggestions for reliable 2 day trips? I have a few of the multiday trips on my wishlist and I'm working my way through my wish list of day trips, but I haven't seen many 2 day trips.

The taxis river by Boiestown might make a nice two-day run. Mind the logjams on the second day.
