Hugh Croll and I paddled the Nepisiguit last week from the lakes to the dam. It was very nice trip with fairly good weather for this time of year. Water levels were just high enough at the beginning of the river. We had strong winds the last 2 days but they were thankfully at our backs. The last day we had 40-60 km/h winds which allowed us to paddle 20 kms in just a little over 2 hrs. I've never paddled with that much wind at my back before. I've posted some pics on my site. mitchellamos.spaces.live.com

Glad you made it up there finally, Mitch. Magical river, isn't it!

Awsome. You really feel out there on you own with this river.
