Hey there. I did the Pollet River Run for the first time a few weeks ago. I am interested in going again. We just recently got some rain which would raise the waters a bit. It would be fun to get a group of people together.
I'll be running the river in my Kayak.
If anyone is interested in going down the river with me on a weekend some time just reply to this post or send me a private message.
Do you know if people run the Pollet in the summer time at all? I've heard people mention it. I am sure you probably have to get out of the boat from time to time, but heh, still would be fun.
In two weeks from now I will be running the Caines. I usually put in late in the afternoon on Saturday and paddle for a few hours while fishing. Set up camp on the shore and fish some more. Head out in the morning and usually finish around 2 PM on Sunday. It has been a few year since I did this. I cannot wait to go again.
