Just took a trip today. Water was very warm, as it sholdhave been considering how shallow it was. Put in on the Back Tracy Road. Had planned on putting in on the end of Matt's Island road but it had a gate across it 3.5 km from the river. Shelf at the Tracy bridge was annoying, as was most of the trip. I have an 18 aluminum grumman that weighs a few ounces less now. I did have myself at 270 lbs, and my two daughters at 130 lbs and 120 lbs in the canoe and about 30 lbs of gear for a day on the river. We made it from about 1 km past the Peltoma Rd and Back Tracy Rd intersection to the bridge in Fredericton Junction from 1030 arriving at 1615 with 1/2 off the river at the big open camp/picnic site river left with the hammock above the Junction. Had to drag the canoe over the Gasperaux falls and many other places.

You'll want at least 0.8m on the Tracy water meter to have an enjoyable run. Should be good today! That gate can be bypassed if you take the pipeline. Look me up sometime, I live in Tracy.
