Anyone been around the Tay lately? Looking for open water for Friday. Cross Creek is possible as well. I would also consider the Eel but we would have to walk across the ice again to get to the tale out. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

The level at Durham Bridge is 18.2. No precip in the forecast. I don't want to discourage you, but that's scrapin' and haulin' depth. Feeling strong? Btw, Sunday is supposed to get up to double digits.

Thanks Tickles. Email me the pics and I'll have a look. Cross Creek isn't as steep as the Tay but that still needs at least 18.5 on the durham gauge. The best check for the Tay is under the bridge at the put in.
No can do for Sunday Ken...I only have Friday....can't complain about sunny and 8 degrees though.
