We tend to bounce around, much like a basketball, when trying to decide which river to run. Brett has recently become obsessed with the Bartholomew bug. How many sweepers were there on your last run? A "few" or over a dozen?? ONe guy is a canoe newbie, how much will he struggle?

Two or three large trees across the stream, easily paddled under, around or bushwhacked. Sometimes the stream forks, and you may end up in a narrow channel. don't grab tree limbs as you go, that was my undoing. Things may change in a year's time, tho. Campsites may be few and far between. We camped at a snowmobile bridge and a former cabin site. There was a nice site river right ata bridge crossing.
