In the past, I used to swing off the Deersdale road, then a second dirt track, to get to Nashwaak Lake. Folks tell me now there's a more direct route from Fredericton right to the lake now, but I don't see it on the aerial maps.
Is this true?

search- L'Explorateur GeoNB Map,, or Googal Earth,, it shows a new road just a few miles past Crab Mountain, on the left that goes through there via Gorby Gulch,, maby thats it,,

Yeah, it looks like the same road, but coming from the other direction. The access to the lake is still the direct road going by the camps and leading to the outlet. Someone said there was another road, but I don't see it.
