« Thread Started Today at 7:34pm » I sold my cedar and canvas Ogilvy 16 today. It had deteriorated to the point where I could no longer care for it, and I couldn't bear to leave it to rot any more in my back yard. It was best for both of us. At least it went to a good friend who promised to restore it to its former glory to the best of his ability. Perhaps I'll see it on the water again someday, and stroke its gunwales affectionately.

Ken graciously offered his canoe up to me and i do thank him.
It will be a keeper for me and it will see action on the Miramichi and St.Croix where most only play with plastic canoes.
I'll post some pictures of the repairs as they get done. Just one busted rib but the innner and outer gunwales and the decks have a lot of rot and will need to be replaced.
If anyone wants to take part in fixing up the canoe with me just come on over.
