Here's the link to check the water levels on the St Croix (looking good) www.americanwhitewater.org/gauges/id/10/Not sure of the link for the Chi. If you've never done the Croix, email me and I'll tell you the put in and take out spots. Plus who to talk to about shuttle service. Alan

go do the eel river, there's a large marsh upstream of benton that very slowly discharges. It'll hold a decent water level for a couple of weeks after a good rain when everything else is dry. Pete

Where exactly is the put in spot and take out on the Eel?
I was looking for a river to paddle this weekend. That could be fun.

Alan,
Right at The covered bridge in Benton, you can't miss it. Find benton on a map and go there, impossible to miss the covered bridge. Pete
