uppercanadapaddle.comHas anyone tried the Upper Canada 16' poly canoe available from Canadian Tire. They look like a decent boat and the price is right ~750.00. They are made in Ontario. Thanks.

For that kind of price i'd hold out to find a used oldtown. There will likely be a few Disc. 169 for sale in the next few weeks after the factory sale in Maine. That being said.... a canoe from Crappy tire is still better than no canoe at all.

THanks. I'm not big on old town. I'll probably go with Evergreen from MEC, Nova Craft, or the upper canada from Canadian Tire. The last time I paddled a discover169, It felt like I was paddleing a tippy, pointed log. Plus they are heavy as a dugout.
