Hi Everyone,
My name is Josh and I live in Denver, Colorado. My wife and I are whitewater boaters down here and are going to be in your neck of the woods next week for some sea kayaking. We are looking for some maps or beta on the best sea kayaking adventures around the Bay of Fundy. Is there a website that you guys use that gives that kind of info?? In the states we use, of course, American whitewater.org and I was hoping there was something similar to this up there. Otherwise, I would love to hear your suggestions! Thanks!

Hey Joshua,
welcome to NB, and have fun while you are here. Don't know of any websites to offer you much info (other than NB tourism sites), but there are lots of great paddlings areas around here. Sea kayaking around fundy park is popular, and nearby to that is "the rocks" at hopewell cape, where you can paddle in and around caves etc.
The only thing I will mention if that the weather in the Bay of Fundy is notorious for changing in a hearbeat, so beware if you get too far offshore while exploring. I know a few experienced paddlers who found themselves in calm seas, which changed to large swells very quickly due to strong winds that came out of nowhere, and had a difficult time making it back to shore.
