So with all the rain from Hurricane Noel hitting us on saturday, I thought of maybe doing a day trip sunday around here somewhere if anyone is interested? Of course it depends on water levels. Also, I would like to do an overnight trip somewhere next weekend(the long weekend). Any thoughts? Mitchell

If there was enough h2o, I'd like to do the Eel for a day trip. I don't think we are getting as much rain from the storm as southern parts of the province and NS.
Give me a call Mitchell if you have any ideas, I'll have to get someone to cover for me at work if I can.......
How bout monday or tuesday if Sunday doesn't work out?

There are calling for 50 to 70 mm now so we should have lots of water for sunday. I was thinking the Tay River Jamie only because I have an appointment at 3:30 sunday. So if we gt on the water early enough sunday we should be out in lots of time. Let me know, Mitchell

Tay sound good, not sure if I can get out of work for Sunday though . It might be busy with the storm coming.....I expect the pager will be going off starting in the middle of the night.
Monday or tuesday would be better if you can take an afternoon off ........

I can't get the time off during the week or I would for sure go. A 2 day trip on the eel next weekend would be a nice trip. They are calling for rain next week as well. If I don't see you on the tay tomorrow, maybe next weekend. Mitchell

Planning on going down the Nassis Stream Thursday with Kip and Sandy about 1530 depending on the weather. Maybe look at the Nashwaak sometime on the weekend.

Has anyone been to half moon to see what the water level is at the train bridge. We went as far as Burnthill last year on the 17th at 3 1/2 feet. That is a lot of water. Might be a good overnight.

Yeah I think the Miramichi would be high enough this weekend. The online guage is showing 2 before the rain last night. Anything over 2 is plenty high enough...most of the rocks at burnt hill are under water at this height.
