Here is great website i've been looking at for awhile trying to find a canoe in my price range. Actually my boss gave me his Coleman that wrecked on the Miramichi. It's got a gash in it but I think it's fixable. Oh well it may not be the prettiest boat on the river but it was free. Any name suggestion? Bad luck to have a boat with no name www.canoekayaknb.org/TradingPost.aspx

briggs, i'd be interested in hearing how you end up fixing the leak. the rest of the boat can be beat and banged back into shape though eh? later palmer

I have one that has been beat back into shape, wrecked and recovered, given up for dead and brought back. Her name is "Old River WH.... (ho) you can use it if that's not bad luck! Beevar

I actually just got a plastic repair kit from Canadian Tire. Glues that to each side put a bigger patch over both of those and put duct tape over that. I also put a layer of black waterproof silicon I got from work and smoothed OuT over both sides and gave it a camo paint job. We beat the hell out of this thing and it won't die. Looks a little rough though. The canoe can't be beat back to it's original form. I just brought it through Little Falls on The St Croix for the second time in two years with it. Pretty good investment of about $20 I would say. Actually I used Canadian Tire money for it anyway.
