Anyone got a trailer for sale? Ideally, it would hold gear in the bed, and have a rack for canoes on top.

My Uncle builds trailers in his shop. He is a welder by trade, and worked on almost every bridge in the province, including the fixed link to PEI. These days he works on smaller projects from home and will custom make trailers mostly for ATV's and Skidoo's. I asked him about a canoe trailer one time and he thinks it would be quite cheep to build. You can get most of the parts at Princess Auto here in Moncton for about $300 or so plus the cost to assemble, and paint it. The great thing is it would be new and custom.
He is in the Moncton Phone Book Jim Standard (506) 734-2238

If you're ever stuck, you're free to borrow mine. It' s not a "canoe" trailer, just a 4x8 cheapy but I've towed a canoe on without any probs. Carm 454-8849
