If you are looking to get your paddling fix, the Tobeatic is good to go. We went up the Shelburne River from Lake Rossignol up to Little Tobeatic Lake and back the same way. It did snow 5 out of 6 days, but overall a great trip!

Yes, it is a little nicer when it is warm and the fish are biting. But, when you are jonesing for some open water, it is always the earliest while staying in Canada. I did 4 days in the Cloud Lake/Upper LaHave River a month later and we were picking 2 or 3 ticks a day off our clothing and bodies so it is a trade off. Does this really look that cold? Attachments:
