Date: April 28, 2007 Water Level: 1.0 North Oromocto @ Tracy Crew: 5 Boats, 10 People Length: 3 - 4 hours, 6-7 Miles Elevation Drop: 204 Feet It was a hard decision to make, but we opted to put in half way down Lyons Stream instead of the usual Crowly's Store spot (closer to Harvey). We drove past Cork Sett. and turned out the snowmobile trail 32 for about 4.5 kms until we got to the bridge where we put in. I was hauling a trailor with 4 boats on it and John brought his truck along with his boat. There seemed to be plenty of water in the stream. It was 1pm when we started and it didn't take an hour to reach Mainstream North Oromocto. From there on out it was clear sailing from there. On the way downstream Shawn and I decided after the trip was done, we would truck back up to Little Lake and put in and spend the night at Gasperaux Falls, which we ended up doing in the end. I will post that in another Trip Report. We took out on the north side of the pipeline. Don't drive your truck down there though, we ended up towing one out later in the day. People on the trip included: Shawn Durette, Chantal Durette, John Webber, John Charters, Sam Charters, Josh Fowler, Lucas Nason, Kris Knappe, Amy Phillips, and myself, Rudi Fowler.
