I understand the road from Holtville leads to the Renous Highway. Has anyone here driven that road? Is it well-marked, or will I get lost?

It's not too bad- you essentially just go through downtown Holtville and drive straight, staying on the most travelled road. After crossing the Dungarvon you stay a little left up the hill, then the only other place I can think of would be closer to the end, there is a fork in the road but both ways lead back to the 108. If you stay right at this fork then you will be on the more travelled portion. First time I went through there was from the 108 side and I never looked at the map, just followed the tracks. There are also crown reserve signs to the Peaked Mountain Lakes (and Valentine Lake- don't get them mixed up or you will end up in Doaktown or Blackville), which is almost at the 108 end.
