My co-workers and I rented canoes from Arpin's in Kedgwick, and they shuttled us in to 15 Mile on the Kedgwick River for a day trip. The trip lasted approximately 7 hours, and this included not much paddling, and a 3 stops to eat and stretch legs. It was my first time on the Kedgwick River and I will be back again. It's not a challenging river, there were no rapids and long stretches of dead water where we could join our canoes up and chat. It reminded me very much of the Upsalquitch, minus the big rocks that can hang you up.
