Aaron, Kyle and I paddled these rapids Sunday morning. There really wasn't enough water anywhere else, and even the St Croix from Milltown to St Stephen would have been too low. The first decent ended in a swim for me, reinforcing how much I need to get out and practice my roll. Took a pretty good knock to the head (even though I don't remember it) since there is a nice new gouge in my helmet and my gopro filled up with water, ending the footage for the day.
From there we travelled to Maces Bay and checked out the waves. The waves looked pretty big to us and ever-changing which would have made for hard work trying to surf.
