Thought i'd give making some seats a shot. These seats are made of butternut with a nylon webbing. Glue drying on the 2nd one, will finish it off tonight. The webbing is attached with long staples on the back side. The staples are in there good and deep, had to remove a bunch to reroute the webbing. They don't come out with out a fight. The next set i make will have holes drilled to route the webbing through, makes a nicer looking seat that way. On another note, picked up my new canoe today. some assembly required.

Wasn't pleased with the apperance of the first seat, figured i'd try a method I used on a few seats before. had to drill out a bunch of holes. Finished off by lacing the webbing through the holes. Installing the webbing on the second one took about twice as long.
