Is there a list of films going to be shown that night?
I mihgt be getting mixed up with the waterwalker film fest, but my buddy just won a best film award for his film called "Locals Only" It even has some NB and NS content in it. If you haven't seen it it is a decent flick. A Whitewater kayaking film but has a local section in it with some people you may know.

Well I'm glad you will be coming out!
I don't have a list of the films for the night, I have most of the films picked out by now. Locals Only was included in the package I received and it might be shown. Unfortunately the film fest cut doesn't have any of the local footage. There was another film called Paddle to the Ocean that also should have had local footage but it was cut out of the festival version as well. I like that the film fest allows us to see lots of films in a short period but it would be awesome to see the full lengths of some of these films.

Paddle to the Ocean should be a good one also. You can check out ZacCrouse.com to see some snippets of different sections of that one. This film was done by the same guy as Locals Only. I will be at the show unless boating gets in the way. I'm taking the afternoon off today for the first creeking session of the year.
Cheers

The film festival is getting close, for those who still aren't quite sure what it is all about... The night is comprised of short films on paddling including whitewater, canoeing, sea-kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. The diverse films offer great scenery, instruction, environmental impact, and even a little humour.
One of the door prizes I have to give away is a hand crafted canoe paddle!!
Liquidmonkey have fun on the water but tire yourself out by 6 so you can head over to the show.
