Someone said you could drive up the Oleary road and put in the South Rusagonis about three miles or so upstream of route 101 and it would be wide enough. I drove out there the last time I was on 101 and could not find a logical put-in place. Was it by the farmer's field? How far in?

keep going past the farm, you will hit dirt road. drive across bridge over a small stream (i herd of someone who mistook this for the put in once and had a difficult walk to the main stream) the put in is the next stream with a bridge that has no guard rails. this is my usuall put in. no big rapids but there maybe a few sweepers or jams especially in the spring, not a big deal usually. this is my favorite section because it is quite narrow, and not too fast.

Yeah, I made it to the bridge over a small stream, I guess I didn't go any farther. I think I'll go there next rainstorm. I am enjoying this Indian summer....

This rain should be enough ? Warning: Last time I ran this a few years ago there was a small logjam with old bridge?railroad ties? with huge spikes standing straight up out of the water!!! This was in first stretch, I think within first 15-30 minutes, so keep your head up at the beginning...

That was nice of you not to name the "someone" who mistook the stream for the south rusogonis. I wonder what fool tried to paddle this trickle?
