After questioning .weather. to go with the hurricane coming, We figured it was over hyped. We Left Fredericton at 8:00AM and were at the put in at about 10:30 Saturday. On the water at 11:00AM and paddled in the rain to Birch Island till around 4:00pm Set up camp and it was nice and sunny by 7:00PM. Hit the water around 10AM to heavy wind and some good waves and paddled to upper Palfrey neck. Got there probably around 6PM. There was nobody else out with us really nice scenic paddle. Paddled from Palfery to the take out in about 3 hours. If your going to do this run do it from Forest City down don't bother trying to go up. Its really nice to have the wind and waves in your back corner. The waves seemed to break in both directions and not follow the wind it was awesome! When the water is low this will be a nice option. s995.photobucket.com/albums/af71/ticklespickles/Spendic%20Lakes%202010%20Sept%204-6/?albumview=slideshow
