Went down this after noon, only started floating at McLaughlin around 4 but water was so fast and fun i was at Poirier bridge in an hour and back at Notre-Dame a little more than a hour after that! Had some nice waves like 2 ft specially in the 2nd half !It also had 2 wind falls but not totally blocking the river. If i would of known it was that fast i would of left from Victoria . I was doing 8 to 11 k floating .To bad it want last maybe a couple of days ? Nobody joined me today so it was a quiet run i saw a giant bald eagle and 2 fisherman all 3 never notice me until we were next to each other, kind of cool .

I was on the Cocagne on Monday - from the 126 down to Mclaughlin - plenty of water. A few trees down but nothing you could not avoid in this high water. Run took about 3 hours. The shttle is easier from the 126 to Mclaughlin since u can use the New Scotland rd. which run parallell to the river.
Also ran the Little River from the Nowlan rd last Friday. Plenty of water there as well - similar to the Cocagne from the 126 - only about 10 feet wide. Had to cut a barbed wire fence a farmer had strung accross the river but could see it coming so no biggie...
So much greenery at this time of year you are often passing through what looks like a tunnel of foliage. Great time to be on the rivers...
