Three of us ran the Stream yesterday afternoon at 0.55 in kayaks. When we went to retrieve our vehicle, there were 4 more vehicles there. The bad pile at the confluence seems to be gone, and there was plenty of water for yaks at this level. We went all the way to sunset dr, 2hrs, beautiful run. I dare say it might be doable as low as .5 or .4 in kayaks. Nice to have options on a hot summer day if you don't have friends with a pool.

We went last evening, one canoe and one river kayak, starting around 7ish, and had an excellent run. The water level, .5, was perfect. We never scraped, and could choose our way down without worrying about strainers. There were some trees across the stream where it widened out in the bottom half, but there was enough room to squeeze through on the right bank by the treetops.

On Tuesday, June 08 4 of did the Nashwaaksis Stream from 6 t 8 pm and the water level was 1-2 inches below the footing of the Estey Bridge, and the MIDDLE BRANCH NASHWAAKSIS STREAM AT SANDWITH'S FARM [NB] (01AK006) gage was from 0.41 to 0.42 This was a shocker as I always thought it needed to be over the footing by 2 or 3 inches to be runable. There were 4 of us Solo Cascade Tandem Appalacian Solo Appaliacian One of the best runs ever in this little river.... a ton of eddies and the current was great. I'll post some videos tomorrow.
