Big storm coming everybody. One man's misfortune is another's opportunity. For us, if the forecast holds, it's the opportunity to run any river, stream, or creek you want for one day only after the storm passes. I'm booking Monday off, and loading up to head out somewhere. Anybody want to try the Tay, Keswick, Eel, North Oromocto, or any other day run close to Fredericton? Obviously it's contigent on Bill, but no harm in planning right?

Upwards of 3" of rain may fall tonight. We may be able to run a local stream tomorrow if anyone is up for a paddle. Tomorrow looks like an alright day. I'll keep an eye on it and post something in the morning. Sure would be nice to be able to run the tay this time of year.

I'd go, but my partner is recovering from a knee operation. I gotta do the step'n'fetch for a little while yet.
I still want to run the becaguimec up by Hartland. I hear it runs in a deep twisting canyon, and can be done in four or five hours.
