Wow, there was just too much water going over that last ledge. Any news about the boat? I feel your pain, Jamie.

Boat was last seen floating down the Nashwaak by a couple people in the Durham / Nashwaak village area. With any luck it might be hanging around the lower part of the Nashwaak in a flooded field somewhere. Jamie

I heard that there is flooding in Maugerville today. Maybe your canoe will show up on someones lawn.
I noticed Mitchell and Rylan were using whitewater boats compared to your Prospector.

Oh it had nothing to do with boat selection. Due to the snow on the banks it was tough to scout the rapid. I think Mitchell managed to get a better look at the rapid but by the time he got back Dave and I had already decided to start running the rapid. Our feet were starting to freeze standing there in the snow. From our vantage point the drop I hit just looked like a big wave, not the drop I went over. I think Dave secretly just wanted footage of me going for a swim . I'd recommend some floatation for running the Tay at this time of year. Jamie
