I'm planning the same thing but not if it goes below 1.5 on the river gauge. I've read other trip reports that say 1.6 was fine, I'm in a kayak so I can get away with a little more. I'm watching the gauge carefully.

Just finished a trip from Half Moon.
We put in on Thursday at 1.57m. We took off today (Sunday) at the same. It was a great run. We used a 171 Penobscot. Last year we hit it at 1.3m and had a great run.
Should anyone stop into the Rangers Brook camp please loo for a set of Jeep keys. It's has a key on it that has a Toronto Maple Leafs Symbol on it. I think I left them on the table in the back left. If you find them please email me at aarong1976@gmail.com

Sent you a PM on Rangers Camp. For eight of you it may be too small. It sleeps 4. The ground outside the camp was pretty wet but fine if using hammocks. The woods is still holding some snow as well.

Kmkracing, if you took out at the bridge in Bloomfield, how many hours of paddling would you say it took for the trip? Any info is appreciated.
