My girlfriend and I decided to run this short little trip on October 2nd on the shediac river after a few days of rain had created a nice water level and current. I had never run it before and had never seen anyone running it. I didn't really know what to expect but wanted to at least try since the water seemed high enough compared to its usual level. It was a great run even if the weather didn't cooperate(rainy and cold). Had to drag the boat over shallow areas maybe twice and carry it over and around 2 or 3 log jams but nothing too hectic. Overall we did about 11.5 km's in just under 3 hours and a half.

That's a wonderful picture of the covered bridge. I belong to a facebook page on covered bridges in NB. May I post this pic to that page? I'll need to know your name so I can give you credit.
