Date: April 21, 2007 Water Level: 1.3-1.4 North Oromocto @ Tracy Crew: 4 Boats, 7 People Length: 3 - 4 hours, 8-9 Miles Elevation Drop: 156 Feet Hey folks, this is my first trip report, of a few from this and last weekend. We ran the North Rusagonis from the Charter's Settlement road to the Covered bridge in Rusagonis. People included where Doug Humble, John Charters, Sam Charters, Kevin Phillips, Amy Phillips, Greg Edwards, and myself, Rudi Fowler. The water was fast from Charter's Settlement road to Highway 101, most exciting too. Beware of a foot bridge and a few low trees. Water level is excellent at 1.3 - 1.4 here, there is plenty of it. After going under highway 101, keep an eye out for a fallen tree that requires a quick portage, then run of the river will put you up against it sideways. The rest of the run behind the houses out Robbie's road is easy and relaxing. We stopped and had a fire with some hot dogs and juice. John of course had to have his tea. Took us 3-4 hours, not in a hurry. Got a nice sunburn! Check out the pictures: picasaweb.google.com/fowlerrudi/NorthRusagonisApril21st

Cool report, pictures and video. It looks like you had great weather for the trip.
I like the homemade canoe rack for the pickup.
Take it easy, Tom
