Starting to get a little stir crazy, wondering if anyone has been out in their canoes yet!? Anything paddleable at the moment?
Thanks!!
-Grant.

Southern NB seems to be good pretty much everywhere (South Rusagonis for sure!) - haven't been north of Fredericton though.

I've been on the Nasis Stream a couple times. I know of people who did the Tay River. Eel owuld be going for sure.
I've been in the whitewater boat around SJ and Nackawic. Things should be going in the south as stated.

Hmm Intriguing, thanks for your post. I've never been on any other those rivers/streams, what are they like?

The season is on , water is high and the boating is easy. Floated the Nasis stream last weekend and the south Tay from royal road to the nashwaak today. Both stretches are easy going with few sweepers.

Hello!
Thanks for the reply. Roughly how long did it take you? Can you tell me where you put-in/took out? Thanks! I'm going to give one a go this weekend, never been on those streams before. Thanks!!

Obviously I'm a little late for your last post, but here goes anyways for the next crew who is looking for the same info. Put in for the Nashwaaksis Stream is here 46°01'37.6"N 66°41'56.5"W This is on the Royal Road just south of the Kingsley Road intersection. It's a nice paddle after work if the river is flowing fast enough as you should be able to do it in 1-2 hours. See Ken's link for river level references. www.nanookofthenashwaak.com/levels.shtmlItching for some flowing water now!

Paddled my kayak for the first time in 2016 Wednesday night. Made it from Penniac to the SJ river in 2 hours (~13km), water was high & fast. Great to get out
