had a little mishap with my esquif pocket canyon last spring and need to do some gunwale repair. i was considering putting wood on instead. i have thought about doing this myself but knowing my procrastinating ways it would probably be fall by the time i got around to it. does anybody know someone with experience with canoe repair that may be interested in puting some new gunwales on.

If you can get the wood, screws and are willing to help, you can fix it at my place. No charge but no guarantee either Vaughn Dunfield repaired Ken's canoe years back, he may still be an option.

Arbor vitae in Sussex did a good job on a friends boat- replaced ribs, gunwales, and refinished for a pretty cheap price. But, it's in Sussex... About time you fix that pocket p- spring's a comin' right after this next snowstorm. Looking at that wanigan, I'd say you are pretty safe with Jamie though!
