Anybody know where I can buy some hardwood boards for making paddles? Ash, Cherry, Maple, Walnut etc.
Would probably need boards 6-8" wide and around 5/4" thick.
I live in the Woodstock area but I could travel a bit.

Full 5/4 boards are hard to come by, if you want to cheat and make some laminated shafts just let me know. Attachments:

There is a small mill and sugary up Bristol way. They do all kinds of hard custom orders. Shilhawk OT something like that.

Ridge Cedar in Keswick Ridge turned out to be a good source of hardwood boards as well.
