Paddlers: Derek and Aaron Put in: bridge off of 770 through Pomeroy (Mine Bridge) Take out: on right just before it dumps into the Magaguadavic May 4, 2014 This run is about 7kms and sure starts with a bang! I put in just up above the bridge after scouting the rapid. It was definitely a rush ferrying across to hit the line on river right. Swift water for most of the stream, but there are some more heavy rapids almost half way down, which a person should take out and scout on river right before running. There is a set of falls further down, which we portaged on river left. I hope to get back some day and run them, but I just didn't feel like trying it this time without at least one more paddler there running safety. It's kind of hard to judge the water levels as it was my first time on this stream. North Oromocto river was at 1.1m if that is of any help. I definitely plan to come back and run it again. And again! Piskahegan Stream
