I have not found anything for the Memramcook River on this site, but it is a nice short river that is great at this time of the year. I put in on the Aboujagne Road (Rt. 933), about 9 km north of the Memramcook East Road. I pulled out at the covered bridge on the Gayton Road, South of the Trans Canada. This is a 24km route with only a 15km commute. I did the trip April 19, 2014 and it went quite well except for one ice jam in the middle that took quite a while to navigate. The high spring water did make for some fast ripple sections (I wouldn't call them rapids) and an average moving speed of 6 km/h. After passing beneath the Trans Canada, the remaining ~4km has minimal current and requires some paddling to get to the end. It is a scenic river that has some impressive trees along its banks. I plan to attempt this river again in the next few weeks to determine when it becomes impassible. The upper section is the shallowest and has the potential to become too shallow soon but it could be skipped by taking a logging road west a bit further up that connects to a bridge. However this would cut the trip to 18km, and make a 20km commute. Hopefully others from the area have/can enjoy this nice river!

Did it again this past Saturday (April 26). The water was a bit higher/faster and was ice free. It's probably at the best it will be right now. Only took 3.5 hours this time instead of 4.
