Paddlers: Derek, Peter, Rob I think this was my second trip running this river. Last time I walked around the falls. The gorge must be a good class 3? We put in just up above the falls where the water was closest to the old tracks, and took out at the power line. Not sure if I would recommend taking out at the power line: holy crap it was steep trying to haul gear up out of there! I think it would be easier to just paddle the flat water down below to the bridge. I have seen clips of people running the falls, both good and bad. We spent a lot of time scouting, and there is one real nice line that takes you right to an auto-boof landing you right where you want to be...away from the hole. Oh, off the second little shelf? Yes there is a hole there, but nothing like up at the falls. He was playing with it.
