Water was at 19.8 on the Nashwaak gauge and about 2 feet over the pier footing. Was a super fun run lots of big waves but nothing you could not power out of or read and avoid beforehand. I ended up going for a very long swim just above the falls. I was not going to let my boat go over them with out me in it:) When they say go down feet first and do not try to stand up they are not kidding. I tried to stand up in fast current and ended up torqueing one of my legs. Anyways really fun run and so close to home. s995.photobucket.com/user/ticklespickles/media/P5260031.mp4.htmlClick to play Little falls Video

When I was chasing my boat down I was swimming just under the power lines and new this fall was coming up. So I was a little nervous. Thankfully My boat slowed down and I was able to catch it...
My other friend ended swimming 3-4 times but we both had a blast. We stayed fairly warm in wet suits.
I sent my friend first over the falls and after running it he said he would not have. But I guess when you have the camera you get to make those calls:)
Man I need a new Camera, So hard to keep the lens dry when its raining out...

Rob Neish says, "channel by fish hatchery is cleared of sweepers as of last fall. The “safe” channel was to the right (impassable at lower levels) and the left was a pile of wood – high water cleared out most of the wood and we finished it off"

Yes we did avoid that channel even though it did look open.
A few sweepers to avoid but they were very easy to get around as long as you are on your game..

two weeks before water was at 18.2ish and about 1-2inches under the pier footing. Hit a ton of rocks still can get down it but it gets frustrating by the end. Click to play video
