I am pleased to announce that The Reel Paddling Film Festival will be coming to Fredericton for the third year in a row. The event will take place on March 23, 2013 at MacLaggan Hall on UNB campus. Tickets can be purchased at Westminster Books or online at ticketriver.com. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. The evening consists of showcasing a variety of short paddling films from around the world. The films include canoeing, kayaking, SUP and incorporate culture and environmental issues. This promises to be another great evening with lots of fabulous door prizes. This year ECO-Logical Adventures will be giving away a KAYAK valued at $1,000!!! You don't want to miss out on this event!!!

On The Line is one of the films they sent last year. There were 3 videos about the same subject and I picked one of the other ones to show at the film fest. This one would have been a good one and would be nice to see full length. I don't know which films I will have access to this year, I will know in a month or so.

That's a shame, Frank wulf is an entertaining and informative Paddle Film Maker.

I agree! The year before last we showed Frank's film Mammalian and it was one of my favorites. I have to choose films based on what will give the most variety in attempts to please everyone. The film I chose to show regarding the pipeline was the only SUP film I had and it was as well done as Frank Wulf's film. It was a hard choice between the two. There was a third film on the pipeline but it was not worth considering.

I'll be going, I was hoping to run into some other Canoenb paddlers. I was not digging on the amount of older people there, I was just surprised that there were so many fit older people into what I was into. They all probably have great stories that I would love to hear with a few beers in me:)
And Who really could Call Nanook old, When you are on a bazillion years old river anyone can and will feel young:) He has pic's to prove it!
And the Girl that introduces all of the videos is nice, one can only hope she kayaks or canoes!
A few preemptive beers in the P lot and it sounds golden to me:)
